Blury text -- is it possible?
Hi, I can not seem to figure out problem, text I type looks blurry, and EQ game as welll, shiny till I zoom up. tryed optimal refresh and changed monitor contrast and brightness though do not see why I need to, just fine other day, now after format its blury, must be something with voodoo 5 I am forgetting or

I want to have a CLEAR looking text for my links(or any text really) on my flash site. And it works fine if I use dynamic text instead of static text, which have that stupid anti alias thing all the time. Anti alias is ok if I have larger fonts, but when you use small fonts it just looks really blury.

What kind(s) of text are you trying to read? You were not talking about the DOS way of displaying text, were you? I own a samsung 955df 19" crt monitor and by text I mean mainly the text you get in most web pages when browsing online. Why blury the text on the final video?
JPG picture so you can better understand my problem, as you will see all the text goes all blury looking, this includes all text for files/folder/icons/shortcuts, and even the titles on top of windows... I gave that card to my roommate and bought a Creative Labs TNT and the text is crisp and sharp at 1280X1024 no matter what refresh rate I set it at, or resolution for that matter. Seems alot of people have this problem with the TNT chip, I do know the specs of your monitor and it should easily be able to handle

Mozilla has anti-aliasing switched off atm, since when I enabled it, I got overly blury text, not nicely hinted.
